Introducing New Programming Beginning Fall 2023 - Organized Teams! 4v4 Game Play! Union Coaching!
Philadelphia Union Youth Recreational League Presented by Roxborough United Soccer Club
The Philadelphia Union Youth training programs are proud to add recreational team play to their very popular Tot Soccer and Soccer Academy training programs with Roxborough United SC. This program will be ran and developed by Philadelphia Union trainers through our Philadelphia Union Club Affiliate Program.
Tot Soccer for ages 3-5 is designed to introduce basic soccer touches using fun, socially interactive soccer activities. Player must be 3 by Nov. 1, 2023.
Soccer Academy for ages 6-12 will focus on individual player development to fully prepare them for travel soccer. Player must be 6 by Nov. 1, 2023.
Both programs will start their 1-hour sessions with age appropriate technical activities and training with Union coaches and then conclude with organized teams 4v4 game play!
Dates: Sundays beginning September 10, 2023 – October 29, 2023 (No Session on October 8)
Location: Houston Playground - 900 Grakyn Ln, Philadelphia, PA 19128
Programming includes:
- Technical Activities and Training
- Organized teams - Max 7 players per team
- Union Coaching along with Parent Volunteers
- 4v4 Game Play
- Save the date! Halloween Spectacular on October 29, players and coaches dress up and play.
- Special Phang Appearance
All players receive:
- Union & Roxborough United SC Logo Branded Team Colored Shirt
- A Free 2024 Union 2 Ticket
Cost: $150
Space is limited. Registration will close once we reach capacity. We will not be accepting registration after August 25, 2023.
All players are asked to be dressed in appropriate athletic wear, shin guards with socks and cleats. Each participant is responsible for bringing their own water. All players must wear shin guards under socks with cleats. Cleats are optional for Tot. You do not need to bring a ball. Please make sure to label all items brought to the field. We are not responsible for any items left behind.
