Roxborough United Soccer club was formed by the merging of the Roxborough Indians and Houston Soccer Clubs in 2016. The original organizations were founded in 1971 and 1970 respectively. 

This organization was formed to bring unity and a better opportunity for young residents of the greater northwestern section of Philadelphia and its surrounding communities.

Roxborough United SC offers intramural training programs for kids ages 3-12 and travel teams for boys and girls from U8 - U12.

On February 13, 2019 the Philadelphia Union announced their official youth development partnership with Roxborough United SC. Roxborough United SC is the first youth soccer club in the city of Philadelphia to be named official partners with the Philadelphia Union. 

Under the collaborative arrangement, Union youth coaches will lead evaluation and training sessions for all of Roxborough United SC’s youth programs from Tot Soccer to Travel Teams.
